During the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Polish Shipowners’ Association, held in Gdynia on 9 October 2026, two new members were admitted to the Association: POLSCA S.A. and Żegluga Gdańska sp. z o.o. Both companies will formally join ZAP on 1 January 2027.

POLSCA S.A., operating under the POLSCA Baltic Ferries brand, brings together the potential and experience of Polish ferry operators associated with the Polferries and Unity Line brands, as well as Euroafrica. The operator provides passenger and freight services between Poland and Scandinavia, while developing an integrated transport offer and sales system.

Żegluga Gdańska sp. z o.o. continues the tradition of a shipping company established in 1946. The company provides coastal passenger services, including popular cruises in the Gulf of Gdańsk and the Vistula Lagoon, as well as freight transport, vessel chartering and ship servicing.

We are delighted to welcome POLSCA S.A. and Żegluga Gdańska sp. z o.o. to the Polish Shipowners’ Association. The admission of both companies broadens the representation of Poland’s shipowning community and strengthens the industry’s collective voice on matters of key importance to the development of Polish shipping.

We look forward to active cooperation, the exchange of experience and joint initiatives aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of Polish shipping companies, developing the fleet and strengthening Poland’s presence in the European and global maritime markets.
