Today marked the launch of our new meeting format, called ZAPmeeting!

Shipowners affiliated with the Polish Shipowners’ Association met in Szczecin to discuss the challenges related to Port State Control inspections in our port. The event began with the announcement that Unibaltic Ltd. had joined ZAP.

Captain Przemysław Lenard, Deputy Director of the Maritime Office in Szczecin, delivered an insightful presentation on the concept of Port State Control and the relevant regulations. This was followed by a lively discussion during which shipowners shared their experiences and sought common ground with the maritime administration. The exchange of views then continued during informal conversations.

ZAPmeeting is a new initiative designed to bring the shipowning community closer together by combining an expert presentation with an opportunity for direct discussion. Its aim is both to enhance industry professionals’ specialist knowledge and to build relationships among a broader group of participants, extending beyond the top management representatives traditionally involved in ZAP’s activities.
