The General Assembly of the European Community Shipowners’ Association ECSA has decided to accept the Polish Shipping Association (PSA), a joint organisation of the Polish Shipowners’ Association (ZAP) and the Polish Shipping Companies Association, into its ranks.

A proposal to this effect was submitted by the Polish shipping organisations in September 2023 and the ECSA Board recommended to the General Assembly to accept the proposal. This happened at a meeting held in Brussels on 14 December 2023. The Polish Shipping Association will officially become a full member of this prestigious organisation from 1 January 2024.

At the same time, the ECSA General Assembly accepted Marcin Talwik from the Board of the Polish Shipowners’ Association as a new member of the Board of the European Community Shipowners’ Association ECSA. In the Board, he will represent the interests of Polish shipping companies.
